CONCEPT.
The momentum, when the past, presence and future are being bridged. With this presence, we can beautfifully shape and create not only by learning a skill, but also by the desire to understand one’s self so that the maximization of human potential increases, and creating with value becomes the new normal.
With the growing importance of form-giving connected to human lives, this project envisions embodying growth, understanding, creativity, innovation, and professionalism that is so needed in the capital of Slovakia.
Working with a former fuel factory from 1895 that later supplied the Nazi military, has been demaged and partially rebuilt in 1945, it is important to deliver admiration of the past by connecting to the period.
The space is divided into the main 3 conceptual time slot areas - past, present and future. In each one, there is always one material from that period implemented to complete the main material formula.
There is a led light entity that has a specific path and connetcs all of these areas to remind people of the tragedy that happened there and to honor the history.

AUDITORIUM.
Conceptually, this is the only area where all the 3 time slots meet. Mostly, this area is considered as a future, but there is an interaction with presnece (balcony from class rooms) and past (library staircase). The led light connects all of the areas. And its color connects to the history and tragedy that happened in 1945.
There is a track for the acoustic blinds panels to be pulled out. These are made out of cork, painted, with an integrated aluminium sheet panel.

LIBRARY.
Library is an introduction to my history area meaning, there has to be a past material introduced, which is
colored acrylic. One of the walls serves as a design magazine display.

CAFÉ AND STUDENTS HUB.
An area to connect, talk, laugh but most importantly, remind them of why are they where they are. Because of the PAST area, there is a colored acrylic, glass blocks and famous chairs and paintings of the history exhibited. To connect, staircase area is an exhibition area for students physical models.

CLASS ROOM.
Everything is custom made, working with shapes from my themes. Professors seating area within the steps facing the plants in the back. The new material of the present is introduced which is CORK. The cork acts as an acoustic panel as well as a panel for the projects to be clipped and thereare multiple ways how to do so.

TACTILE ROOM.
As a part of the futuristic area, I am adding 3d printed cement and all the materials follow the futuristic path. This place serves as a material library for students to learn and be able to be in touch with the reality of design language.
